NHL 23 Ultimate team not working

Try deleting the personal saved data for NHL 23. It's possible you could lose any offline saves and changes to settings. Normally, those will download from the cloud, but I can't guarantee that will happen. Go to Settings/Storage/System. Locate NHL 23 and delete the saved data.

Thanks I'll try this. I haven't even gotten the ultimate team mode to load so no worry about losing any saved data. Thanks for the help 👍

Deleted the saved data and still not working? I'm going to try to reinstall the entire game and after that I'm out of ideas?

Yeah, you'd think the message would read, name already in use or something of that nature. Instead of an error code. I appreciate the help and like I said, if anyone else gets this error  message without even getting to load into the mode for the 1st time, it's bc they don't have a unique name for their team. Save someone alot of headache and frustration. Keep spreading the word! Cheers

Yep. It could be handled better for sure. It's a bug though and not intended to receive the failed to retrieve data message. Hopefully, we'll have it resolved sooner than later. If you have any other issues, please let us know. Good luck on the ice!

I’m having the same trouble on my Xbox S, just bought the game and it won’t let me progress past picking my team name and I’ve went through a few different ways of solving it to no avail. Kinda bummed

Did you try using more obscure team names or just adding some characters on to the name?

I have problem to access HUT Rivals. Ultimate team is working and i can play online with friends but rivals doesn't work. HUT Rivals "window" is unactive and i wont be allowed to click in. Could you help me please?
