- @johum2886 Thanks and actually completely missed your thread in the Franchise Mode board. I really wished that there would be more acknowledgment from EA as we aren't really asking for the moon here. Also they wouldn't even need to figure out themselves what features to add. The community has been pretty clear about that. As an example, I only added these simple features that are easy to add, I left GM Connected and mask "generator" etc from the list as that would take more resources to do.
EA could just add these type of small QOL features and bug fixes to NHL 24 and most people would be happy. Then on NHL 25 they could again focus on the more resource heavy features.- @cjg2022cjg yep
I've even offered to volunteer to help with some of the QOL stuff but didn't even hear a peep from them- @johum2886 Unfortunately, there's some employment red tape why they couldn't take any volunteering work for these type of things. I think beta testing is one of the only caveats when that is allowed.
But again, they absolutely could have taken the list of names you created and use that for the regen players. So it's pretty disappointing.
Sorry to be late to the party but I’ve been keeping an eye on Brent Burns this year and had an idea for created players and/or be a pro mode. As we all know, Burns is really a defenseman but he has played forward several times. It would be cool if you could make your Be a Pro have their second position as a forward if they are a defenseman or a D-man if they’re actually a winger or center. Be similar to how SDS incorporated being a two way player in the show series, you could face challenges in games where coach asks you to play your second position due to injuries or certain team matchups or rivalry games. Who know, maybe it’s a good idea, maybe it isn’t, but I personally think it would be cool.
