NHL 24 Franchise Wishlist
Since NHL 23's Franchise did a fantastic job of listening to the communities wants, I'll bite the bullet and start the list for next year Some of this stuff could be in the game this year, but I wou...
Forgot these ones
That one would be awesome, especially when EA clearly dont want to fix the "North American names" on players from lower level hockey nations....
I could do that for them in one day for free if they don´t have the time over from expanding HUT..... 😉
I'm 100% for unlocking some portions of editing, but at some point, ya'll have to stop and think...
You want the ability to full edit things, which basically means you want to God-mode, which come on, is a bit much.
I'll give you:
Positions: Considering 90% of the players don't come with a secondary position, I'll grant you we should be allowed to move a player with 62 faceoffs out of being a center.
Type: Yeah. My playmaker has 91 snap and slap shot accuracy and no denying? Okay, he's supposed to be a sniper, make the move.
Names: Okay, fine, the name randomizer needs to be adjusted.
Character Looks: Totally, that's cosmetic, which EA is all about, check out HUT.
I draw the line and player stats. I know other games let you, but geez, where is that reality we want, if we can just edit our Top 9 Fs into the next Connor McDavid? Yeah yeah, I get the argument, "What does it hurt?" Its not a matter of what it hurts, its a matter of what EA might actually do for us. You realize the more you insult them over things they do, the less.likely they are to change things.
Get behind asking them to fix the actual bugs, because people, offline gaming is pretty much dead in sports games.
I would say there is mainly two reasons why so many want to be able to edit everything on players during a franchise save (or other modes like this).
1) To Be the GOD and make it easier to have fun and be successful regarding all the bugs in the mode that clearly are not there with a purpose from EA, but they dont care to fix it. Like the line chemistry, the coach strategi bug etc...
2) Be able to fix all the faults that EA have put in on players and dont care to fix. And also be able to make the auto created prospects by the game make some sense, especially names!!
For the ones that says that the nr 1 reason is why EA dont want to open up the edit section again. I say WHO CARES, Its offline, if someone wants to be a GOD of EA NHL Franchise mode and are enjoying it - LET THEM!!
But most of us, especially in these forums are more about option 2. Just so you know!!
Yeah, but clearly EA cares, so why would they open it up? Becuase you demand it in capital letters? That's a big no. (Really you should ask better questions.)
As for point 2, they do allow. If you want to fix their mistakes, which there are many, you just need to do it before you start a Franchise.
So, @MV75 Point 2 is completely moot. The moment you update the roster, go in and make all the changes you want to the custom, save it and start your franchise. Ergo, you are really arguing for point 1, which EA doesn't want you do to.
Just so YOU know.
P.S. Typing in bed to try to accurate your point (even though your point is clearly a lie) is fun!
