I always find it funny how the EA mods will pin the NHL FM wish list… but then NEVER even look at it and implement any suggestions into the game…
It truly is a WISH list… because wishes don’t come true I guessAlso, give us the ability to edit players preferences. Having it random when you play franchise is just dumb; a player like Caufield being penalized for a coach that has a 'shoot' or 'carry' bias, because randomness has him as a 'dump' and 'cycle' guy. I shouldn't have to restart a franchise multiple times to have these things 'kinda' make sense, at least for the best players on the team.
- Appropriate skin color for generated prospects. The number of black Russians and Finnish players we have is not at all realistic
- Expanded universe. I'd love to see other leagues standings, see which players dominate there and have to ability to sign them. Also, it would be nice to see if there are generational prospects coming a few years in the future in those leagues.
- Integration of the ECHL as farm teams.
- Sliders to decide the % of prospects you want from every country. With the custom leagues that they added, you can create historical leagues but let's say that you create the NHL in the 1950s, it doesn't make sense to have Russian players there.
- World Junior Championship during to season
- Ability to decrease the accuracy of player potential in the draft. Personally, I hate it that we can know that certain player are confirmed low elite for example because of the four bars, even with fog of war on. I wish that the real potential of a player could only be known with certainty two or three years after they are drafted.
