- goalies injuries
- extra site with bio info of the Player, cup rings, complete trade history of each player ( own site for every player with all shown trades )
- no move clause, no trade clause incl. list of teams for no trade.
- correction of waiver claimed players ( they need to go to the NHL and not to the AHL roster after claiming, when send down they need again to Pass waiver )
- sign option for Russian, European players ( a possibility to sign them later as two years after get drafted )
- goalies mask creator ( every goalie need to have his own mask and equipment style )
- the possibility to recreate EA generic Player faces not only the beard ( many of them looking bad, good roster creator can do a better job )
- more and better looking generic faces, hairs, eyebrows ....
- much more real likenesses as promised to add years ago, but never did
- every real Player need to have a headshot Image ( black silhouettes not acceptable )
- buy likenesses from drafted college players ( it is now possible from US law since some years - Sure that most players will give it for free cause want to be in the game )
- different celebration and atmosphere after a win in regular season and playoffs
- five game player statistic during a game. If a player is on a hot or cold streak
- results of other games during the game
- scorebord on the top corner need to stay longer. The speed between the site change of the results is to quick.
- much more cut scenes during the game to make this game look more like a real broadcast game. Now it is stale and boring.
- give the spectators hat's. How is it possible to throw away a hat after a hattrick if no spectator has a hat ?
- add a contract option for signing a player at the following year. ( For example all players which got now new contracts for season 23/24 and will not play at the end of season 2023
- PTO contracts
- LTIR
- possibility to transfer self created players, custom rosters from NHL 23 to 24
- in a merging process the custom roster need to overwrite the existing EA Player ratings, potentials and equipment. Otherwise hundred working hours of custom changes are lost

My NHL 24 Franchise mode wishlist:
1) Option to save line combinations.
- Its so frustrating to modify lines every time when injured players get healty and come back to your lineup. Another option would be to give your head coach an order to put a specific player to play a position you want in your team. For example if you have too many centers in your team, you could give your head coach an order to put one of your centers to play always as a left wing. Otherwise your head coach might put a top 6 forward to the 4th line or even bench a player who normally belongs to 2nd or 3rd line.
2) Free agent signing
- Give players a motivation for signing. Each free agent could have a goal or a coulple of goals what they are looking for their next contract. Possible motivations could be: money, stanley cup contender, team with friendly faces, near hometown, big market, small market, more playing time, leader for younger players. etc. Those motivations should affect players decisions to sign. So for example some players could choose to play in a winning team with less money and shorter term. On the other hand someone could choose to play in a rebuilding team and show example for young rookies in that team. Great example of that is Ryan O'reilly who chose to sign in Nashville. Or a skilled player who has had a tough last year could want one year kind of show me deal to prove his real potential in a team that also could promise him more playing time and bigger role.
3) More strategies and playing styles for coaches.
- Possibility to hire one special coach who gives the team an advantage in a specific area of the game. These type of specialists could be for example:
powerplay, penaltykill, skating, physics, mental. For example mental coach could give players some mental toughness which help players to prevent to take penalties.
List goes on but I don't want to continue because most of the ideas have already mentioned and there are a lot of great ones in here. I just wanted to make a list of my top 3 ideas at the moment.
