I've been wanting more customization for years now and have pretty much lost all hope it'll happen.
I don't think broken glass/sticks will make a return. As much as I LOVE doing that to people, it slowed the game down and was way too frequent and unpredictable which lead players to call shenanigans
If they had it where the game keeps playing if the glass breaks, I believe it would fix most of those issues.
I also believe that creating a more violent mode would attract gamers that don't normally play Hockey games. I am not a huge Basketball fan, but I usually buy NBA 2k because of there endless customization and phenomenal Career Mode.

When it comes to club creation/franchise creation...let us decide what striping, piping, and fill goes where on the jersey. Forget the templates, let us make the whole design from the ground up
