NHL 24 Wishlist
I know that you guys have seen a hundred of these already so I'll try and keep it fairly succinct
1) Custom Leagues Online (formerly GM connected) - Honestly I give props to EA, Custom leagues is awesome...now let us play online with them....I currently play in a HUT discord league and let me tell you, it's fun but it sucks having to buy my team and buy my upgrades and draft & make trades through discord...this used to be a thing to some degree....if this came back in this fashion it would be a lot better.
2) Be A Pro - Similar to 2K, why not intertwine Chel and BAP...you can go online or you can play through your career (while gaining unlockables or XP that can be used in both modes) - I'd also like to see a bit more of a story and it would be cool to be able to skate around town like 2K but that's more fluff than i need...the above would suffice
3) Franchise Mode - 😇 give me the option to be the owner (where I choose the direction of the team), the GM (where I am directed by the owner to a degree - maybe based on the owners personality) or just the Coach (where I make only line-up decisions).
(b) Change-up GM mode, I'm sick of having to constantly provide upkeep on my arena, marketing, etc. why not instead let me hire a maintenance staff, marketing team, etc. that can be upgraded
4) AI Goalies - similar to real goalies have them pick up on shooters fav spots...I shouldn't be able to score 5 wristers in a row over Skinner's left shoulder...he should be cheating to that side...forcing me to score differently
5) AI Players - Allow us full customization of these players in Chel...including player type (not all of us play 6V6....as well similar to the above have AI Dmen start to cheat to the inside if they are getting beat inside multiple times in a row....
6) Chel - Allow users to create Chel Leagues as well....again something that many users organize via discord or some other app and manually do that should be an option in-game....Also can we get rid of the playoffs in Banff or whistler or wherever it is? I want to hear my home crowd go wild when I score in the playoffs.....another great thing that was added into '23 was the atmosphere and you don't really take advantage of it, in this mode....
7) random - can we bring back rivalries? in all game modes.......Lastly wishlist item, make it so that you can make any card in hut, untradeable of course but if I want to build a New York Rangers theme team why not let me trade in collectibles or players of the same ovr to exchange for some of these players...instead currently i sit on the AH, hoping it gets put up eventually...
Food for thought....I'm hopeful for '24...TBH '23 wasn't that bad....but some of these changes would go a long way....
