NHL WOC: Game will not allow me to pick a position

Drop Ins/Clubs both will not allow me to pick my position or back out of the game. I can move to customize and so on but no leave the lobby unless I quit the game. I have reinstalled the game 5+ time...

Every time I choose a position, I get the attached error. It's only club games. No idea why? Has this happen to anyone else.

I moved your post to the already existing thread on this. Please try what is suggested here and let me know what happens. Also, you can try deleting the personal saved data for NHL 23. It's possible you could lose any offline saves and changes to settings. Normally, those will download from the cloud, but I can't guarantee that will happen. Go to Settings/Storage/System. Locate NHL 23 and delete the saved data.
