One more to add to the list is the new "snow" on the ice. Has anyone else actually looked closely at it? It sits a couple inches above the ice surface and doesn't change based on puck motion. It also doesn't hinder the puck in any way, nor when you think about it would it be there after the 6, 10, or 14 minute mark...tv timeouts clean the ice.
Just another, "hey, look at something else we added that doesn't really affect anything but kinda looks cool if you squint at it and don't really pay attention to it closely.
Beyind frustrated with this game's lack of...I don't even know the right word...realism, intrigue from game to game, interest could even be used, but really I think it's just the lack of [removed] seemingly given by EA for us offline guy. Guess our $60 or $70 isn't even a drop in the bucket for them huh?

Yeah I was looking for that last night! 22 had better ice presentation tbh. You actually seen the snow, and direction of the puck/skate movement from it...
For me nhgl 15 and 23 ands the worst hockey game ever produce.
Nhl 23 is a broken nhl 22 version. Totaly unnaceptable.
If they don't fix it, the way they advertise the game is simply illegal and unethical.
Honestly, it's not just the offline community... everyone that plays this game is frustrated... I've been playing since about 13' or so. (I mainly play eashl and drop ins) but it doesn't help when people online play and 1 goal gets allowed then everyone quits with no reprocussions.. which we've been wanting something to deal with that for a long time now, but get excuses every year as to why it hasn't been implemented (this goes for GM connected too) oh but they have no problem adding new game modes into HUT on almost a yearly basis...
I wish someone had the funds/influence to convince 2k to try their hand at NHL again. Just once. The only way EA is going to stop going backwards is if something threatens their profits. I used to go crazy with anticipation in the summer for the next NHL game. I just want the kind of franchise mode that NBA 2k or The Show has for their sports, but since I only play offline and don't give them a penny in microtransactions they don't give a single crap. And the complete lack of transparency/honesty is insulting. This would not fly in any other business, but that's the problem. No competition.
