With all the issues popping up from the offline game modes. It has shown how big the offline community population really is.. Numerous offline gamers feeling disappointed in not just gameplay but the features. BAP was a mode I wish was worked on in 23. Not having the option to skip cutscenes or at very least have the AHL makes this mode frustrating to play. These features have been requested since beginning of NHL 21. Why they haven't made the cut is mind boggling!
Franchise mode still has broken FRA contracts! , no full presentation features. Record books still broken! Along other issues. Even the top content creator for this game mode has opted out of creating rosters because it's so broken. He has been playing more EASHL/HUT unfortunately...
Full presentation only works for the online game modes. Unsure why it's like this but for offline it would be nice if it was added.
Over the years I have seen the offline game modes downgraded from having some of the greatest content just to be removed from the game. We once had anthems back in NHL 05! Glass broke in games like NHL 12-14. The presentation was more engaging and thrilling! BAP you could see your injury tracker, the prospects/all-star games were included! AHL/Junior full seasons were available. Could hit a player over the boards. We had black eyes and marks after a fight! When an injury occurs the trainer would come out to check the player. All of these made the offline modes playable! Content is why NHL 14 was such a GOAT game! Not for the gameplay but because we had content worth our dollar.
EA NHL is losing customers who play these modes because of this! Online game content is okay atm! Offline modes need work asap!
The only thing upgrated over the 5 or 6 year are the graphic and none of it come from EA. Graphic upgrade come from nvidia, amd, intel, Sony, etc. They build better console so graphic are better.
Nhl offline as not evolve since 2014. They was a time i could put my picture in game. In nhl 14, i have every real nhl team intro music.
They added 12 new custom logo in 10 year. Created Female are in the game since 2012 and they still don't have long hair.
I can created my own mascot but i have a 1998 game presentation.
Checking and body physic still awful.
They take a copy of a unfinished product and they add new unfinish feature and fix only 1/3 of problem. Then, they repeat.
Right now, the nhl series in at the same place as 2015. They are going to need 3 or 4 year before being able to come with a ok product.
