EA Sports released yesterday new patch update in NHL 23. What new this update brought to the creation zone? Their only update to creation zone was, that EA Sports added Bauer Vain gloves, skates and stick, but these new equipments not be new Bauer Vain - and Bauer Supreme Mach are same skate, as well as Bauer Vain - and Bauer Vapor Hyperlite are same glove. In other words Bauer Vain equipments are going in the same group as skates CCM Jetspeed FT2 Ice Cream, CCM Ribcor 80K Neon Pop and CCM Super Tacks AS1 Camo.
As I've said before, we need more old equipments back to the game for skater and goalies . I checked, what skates players use, which were selected All-Stars game. Result was, that even off all superstars not use newest skates.

When we create goalie , we have in use goalie gears, which have been in the game since NHL 08 and it's great, but last years we has been in use only two differents Bauer goalie gear set.
Something I just thought of that'd be HUGE for goalie gear is something that MLB does for customization where they have "Team Colour 1, 2 and 3" and if you use that option it will change the colours for you to whatever the uniforms 3 colours are (think of the colour wheel option and how you can choose 3 colours on create a team) You can still make the pads whatever colours you want, but you can also decide to make some parts in team colour 1, 2 or 3. That way if a guy like Juuse Saros who wears bright yellow pads on Nashville got traded to Edmonton in a franchise mode, he'd be wearing orange pads without having to go in and manually do it (and hope it actually loads properly)
My idea on how it would work using Anaheim as an example :
Hold LT/L1 to select Team and Recent Color, Standard Color, or Team Color where the options 1, 2 or 3 are there.(Switching between palettes for uniforms would be great too if possible) Anaheim's normally would display Black, Orange and Gold for their 3 colours. But if in the pre-game menu you wanted to wear the '93 Mighty Ducks' uniforms. The colours on your pads are automatically changed to Eggplant, Green and Grey since those are the 3 team colours for that uniform.Like I've stated here before, locations list should be update to NHL24. Many European cities is missing from location list, but also many North American city is missing. Not even all the cities, that will become an NHL team can be found from locations list. In addition not even all the U.S. State capital cities can be found from locations list.

YellowknifeHopefully, in the future, we can use all players in creating a team. Take for example this year NHL draft 3rd pick, canadian Adam Fantilli. Fantilli can be found on two teams in the game, these teams can be found IIHF tournaments game mode and it mean, that we can't use Fantilli in team creation. Or actually we can use him, but we need create Fantilli first to the game, that we could use him in the creating a team. Hopefully to this come change to NHL 24 and we can use all players in creating a team. Now we can't use IIHF- and Spengler Cup rosters in creating a team and it's big problem.
