Next week comes the first NHL 24 trailer. Will be interesting to see what is they "focus point", will it only be "Crossplay" and nothing more that is the main thing or does EA surprise us with more fantastic new things....
Not a wild guess would be some more new things added to the custom league, who was a "big" thing in NHL 23.
Because of the changes in the Womens League in North America, they will not say that PHF will be in the game, that would have been a logical next step in the Womens Hockey addition in the game. But maybe for NHL 25?
Chock us with Slovakian league and the second divisions from Finland and Switzerland maybe... nooo... I know... its EA.... 🙂

Hopefully this year EA Sports have put effort to creation zone, in there is things, which should be fixed. Ofcourse online game modes HUT and EASHL are popular.
We have hoped, that EA Sports update location list. EA Sports updated "play by play" name list to the NHL 22. It was awesome, but there is missing option "none", this option is in "play by play" name list in creating a team, but not when we creating player.
Is sadly, that we are still a long way from, that we get women's league to the game. It's awesome see how extensively EA Sports has brought women's soccer to game. Everything began from FIFA 16, when women's national teams arrived to the game, now we have in situation, that we have five women's leagues in upcoming FC 24. In NHL 23 we have possibility play IIHF women's world championships, this good start, but hopefully we get women's league to NHL video games in the future. Next step could be, that we could create women's team. Actually we can now create team, where is only female players, but we cant' play with that team against women's national teams.
Would be awesome, if EA Sports has added Tipos Extraliga (Slovakia) and second tier leagues Swiss League and Mestis to the game. In addition would be awesome, if EA Sports has added two highest junior hockey leagues from USA to the game, these leagues are USHL (Tier 1) and NAHL (Tier 2). There is one league that would be a great addition to the game and it's not be KHL. Would be awesome see NCAA Divison1 in the game. I not believe, that we see NCAA D1 in the game, but always we can dream. I have said , that junior hockey can be share to two main path, these paths are CHL-path and NCAA -path. CHL-path is in the game, when WHL-, OHL- and QMJHL teams has been in the game since NHL 11. Would nice, that EA Sports added this NCAA - path to the game.
