Offline Mode Only in HUT

Hello EA,

Just a quick suggestion and plea for a better experience for players like me who are based in locations from which it is impossible to play any of the online versus, Rivals/Champs etc modes in HUT. I am based in Australia and if I happen to find a game (which occasionally happens believe it or not) it's absolutely unplayable due to the lag. Your ping stats do not go beyond 150ms in the game so I'm not entirely sure what the ping is however it's maxed out and my inputs feel like 0.5s late at least.

I still play HUT as I love the whole concept and enjoy playing squad battles and completing objectives to build my team.

Anyways, I was thinking it would be absolutely amazing to have the option in HUT to opt-out from online games. Some toggle to switch to "Offline mode only" in HUT settings which when selected would adjust my rewards and objectives to offline mode. No more "Score 100 goals in Rivals / HUT Champs" etc objectives which I simply cannot complete.

I know it's a long shot but I don't think I am alone with the issue so thought of posting here as a suggestion.

    Hi there, @GoldenCzech 

    If your ping is constantly at 150 ms, either you're in a very remote location or there's an issue with your connection. Where are you located and do you use a wired or wireless connection? Thanks!

    Hi Aljo,

    I am in Australia and aware of the fact that there is nothing that can be done with the connectivity due to network latency. Even if you had a server somewhere close by, I don't think there would be enough people to match with. Fifa yes (and there is a server in Sydney), NHL not so much.

    You may want to read my original post. The point I was making was a suggestion for players like me who are very far from your servers and cannot play any online mode to have the option to opt-out from online and have objectives and rewards in HUT adjusted to that. I play Squad Battles, Rush, and completing objectives - pretty much all I can do.

    @GoldenCzechOh trust me I'm tired of the stupid Rivals requirements for Daily and Weekly quests too. They had done it start of NHL 22 and people complained so they were removed. Now they are shoving it down peoples throats forcing them to suffer when they shouldn't have to. Requiring 10 blocked shots is by far the dumbest thing ever because any smart people only shoots good shots that won't get blocked thus making it take 3+ games to get them.

    @EA_Aljo He just wants the stupid Rival requirements removed from Weekly and sometimes Daily.  Don't force a non online person to suffer pretty much.  I literally resort to  playing early in the morning and trading achievements with a friend just to complete stuff that requires rivals.
