One touch pass doesn't work

Update: issue still present but it seems controller related. Tried a different controller and I can pre-pass/one-touch pass again. Both controllers work just fine otherwise, so I'm thinking this could be a controller version/model compatibility issue.

Basically plugging the controller in and playing a game like that then unplugging seems to help with the button lag in general...
