Community ManagerYou said another controller works so I think this is related to the controller and not the game.
Try turning off the Haptic Feedback in the PS5 settings. I know when I had a specialty controller on Xbox my passing was messed up because of the triggers not going down all the way and such.
I use my PS5 to play the PS4 version which doesn't use any special trigger effects and still have issues
