Player movement limits for NHL '23 for XBOX1

Hi folks,

Is there a hard limit on the number of trades/moves you can do before crashing the game? I keep an NHL team and their AHL team current as much as the game rosters will allow, and try to keep up with the bigger players moving teams as free agents over the summer. I was 40 games into my most recent season, did some FA movements to add some players to the team I was about to play, and the game bounced me out and I can't resume the season. This has happened before, but it was earlier in the season (20 games) also following some housekeeping transactions.
