Attention fellow NHL gamers,
This is protect everyone who hasn't bought the game yet. EA has really milked the false advertising this year. The pregame presentations that they heavily advertized in the trailers leading up to launch do not exist. I have already played a number of games and have yet to see one game where you see the graphics protruding onto the ice with the lights off. I will be honest, I have had 1 game where I saw the glow sticks. I have also seen a number of games with a pregame national anthem but that's not what we are looking for here. If the pregame presentations are your main motivation for buying NHL 23 you will be dissapointed. EA made it appear in the trailers that this is something that happens in all games or at the very least most. It doesn't happen at all. I have already started like 50 games. Not even in the playoffs. EA also doubled down by taking away full presentation mode and you are stuck on condensed game. This means no goalie action before the game and no players skating around their zone before puck drop. Do not give EA your money this year untill they fix it. I am still on my trial.
