I'm all for constructive criticism and having you ask for that is great but in return can we ask for transparency. Sadly, if you are wanting constructive criticism and less hate but it's okay for EA as a company to not be transparent. It should really go both ways.

  I think that's a fair statement. One of the big reasons we don't talk about what's coming is because it's entirely possible that could change. Even if we say we're thinking of making x change, it can come across as something we're promising. If it doesn't happen, we're causing a lot of disappointment. This is why we normally put out patch notes the day before because at that point, the chances of something being removed at the last minute is pretty slim.
  
  The best I can tell you right now is that the presentation issue issue is one we're hearing a ton of feedback on. We'll just have to wait for now to see if anything changes.

    And with all respect, we will continu to comment the issue until we like the result. And of course, nothing about this is personal or aim toward you, but aim toward you boss.
    When we are saying ea don t care about us, we are not talking about the people working hard and putting the hour in front of a computer doing their best, but we talk about those who don t give the ressource to game designer who only wish to create the best hockey ever.

I feel you. I also cannot play this year - when explaining one of the features that was implied by the advertising I was brought to tears at one point and I don't have a rational reason why - this game has caused me psychological harm with this release.

It clearly states on a document that EA filed in the janitorial closet "on ice projection will be limited to six teams." If you didn't dig through their janitorial closet, that's on you.

  @VeronicatheCDI can easily relate. I have moved on to Fifa already.. which I thankfully was able to get on sale. But the marketing for this game was so poor on so many levels. I was so excited at the start but now it just brings me anger and hurt for spending money on this mess. I fully believe I have spent more time in this forum then I have playing their beta of a game...and after spending our hard earned money on a product they didn't probably give.. It is easily a form of psychological harm.. I was even asked at one point by EA in this forum.. even with them heavily promoting presentation as a whole.. why I felt the game was unplayable without having the missing presentation.. that really made it worse cause it was like I had to defend myself it even if they are the ones who falsely promoted it and continue to do so. To me even now it seems like in their eyes it's our fault they we are here complaining and that even now with them going to look into making improvements.. they are implying they are doing us a favour and not them trying to fix the mess they created... I think that ultimately makes this situation a 1000 times worse... I bet I'm like a ton of people on here who don't want to be here and just play the game they promoted.. but in reality we paid all of that money to just be on this forum and live with the feeling of being betrayed.

    @MasterB89 It definitely isn’t a super inviting environment here for sure… voicing your concerns and opinions usually aren’t met with a proper form of communication… you are definitely forced to defend your concern and opinion and have to “prove it”… any ideas and criticisms usually feel like they fall on deaf ears (specifically and especially offline related things like be a pro and franchise mode..)
    
    There’s so much frustration and we are expected to not be human and speak our frustration… which in turn makes it more frustrating…
    
    I love hockey so much, and I just am frustrated that I cannot play a working hockey game.. and I miss it tons
