Its really mindboggling with the remove of the presentation and to take away the true broadcast angle and the way they choose to make this game nowdays.I really can't understand it and i would be surprised if they went back to the presentation that was in the game previously.it was really good between NHL 10 and NHL 18 just put in the anthems to and 3 stars after the game and i would be so nice to look at, if it would have been with a presentation like that in this game with todays graphics it would be 10 times better now it just feels like a unfinished beta game.
i have a feeling and not a good one i think this is a new direction the game is supposed be from now on and going forward and they did NHL 22 with the condensed presentation or full presentation option because they would make the transition to no presentation smoother they thought and i bet they planned it already there.
Its all of the online gaming or the beginning to shut down the NHL serie i cannot think of a another reason they make this stupid decision. But i think they know exactly what they are doing and the offline players is not prioritized anymore in this game and going forward just prove me and the whole offline and online community wrong and you would make us happy enough to continue buying this game.

@Redw91 Something constructive would be that the pace of the game is too intense all the time. Opposing team scores a 3-2 go ahead goal and I got a minute remaining to tie the game, I look at the lines thinking which one I should go with and- nevermind we're already taking the faceoff because there aren't breaks from the gameplay. The game is the most furthest from fun and chill if you like to play offline.I understand there's a short window of time to choose your line. When you're in the last minute, try taking a pause and calling a time out. That way you have full energy and a little more time to put in the line(s) you want.

Seriously, this is your solution to this problem?

At the moment, yes. If you aren't able to change your lines quick enough. I change lines with every stoppage. I've gotten really quick at it, but I realize not everyone may be able to change lines in the brief window that can be done. I don't know if this is going to change so for now, this would be a good solution if you don't have enough time to change lines in the last minute of the game.

Actually, pausing and calling a timeout reduces the time you have left to put lines out. Due to the presentation being so limited, the offplay scene where the coach is talking to a huddled group of players no longer happens. So when you return from the pause menu, the lineup is already on-ice and the faceoff sequence begins, meaning you have zero time to change the line before the puck drop.

I'm still seeing the coach. In HUT at least. Regardless, I'll pass on the feedback. I wouldn't mind seeing the animation removed between scenes so lines can still be swapped. Personally, I'm very quick with my line changes so there's always been enough time to get the lines in that I want. It would still be nice to have that window extended by a few seconds though.
- 3 years ago@EA_Aljo Or, EA could bring back full presentation so we have enough time to change lines without hitting the start button and calling a time out.
Just an idea.
Btw, have you notified the dev team about the retired jerseys can't be disabled in custom franchise? Currently Gretzky can't wear #99 in custom franchise despite EA advertised the mode with a picture of Gretzky and the possibility to play with 80's throwback rosters.
That, and full presentation is all I need to buy the game.- EA_Aljo3 years ago
