Just so there isn't any misunderstanding, nobody is blaming you specifically for the problems and information being given - it's the (lack of) information you're being given/ allowed to relay to the rest of us that is causing a rift with the community. I just think it's better to rip off the bandaid than to constantly pick at an open wound for what seems like years.

Bad news is always tough to handle, sure, but being strung along is pure torture in it's own right. Surely at least some of the higher ups making the decisions and slapping on the red tape know that this will hurt their bottom line? Oh there will definitely be blowback and some unhappy campers, but in my mind, bad news is still better than no news at all.

Like, having more developers coming in to just say nothing won't help anybody. I'm glad and appreciate you're asking for more information but it's getting to a point where you, someone, anyone, needs to demand it from one of the suits higher up in the food chain. Community members are foaming at the mouth for any substantial crumb of info.
