Why was the goalie change animation removed?

Because EA wanted to please all those stressed out people who can't stand things like cut scenes or replays. Every game needs to be done as quickly as possible.
- @SvenArne123 Was there not like an option in the presentation settings at one point where people could turn replays, commentary, etc. off? I seem to recall there being a condensed play option at one point. I always played with these settings turned on to make the game feel more authentic and real. The only time I ever turned one of the presentation settings off was when they'd have Snoop Dogg do commentary lol. I found that to be a little annoying lol.
- @tunes29 Yes it was. They took it out in 23 so now it's always condensed which sucks for those of us who want to see replays and cutscenes.

They try to push out the offline/true hard core hockey fans community with these decisions to cut down presentation and the realism and true feeling of the sports and i think they are very close to succed i have no other explanation to this mess.It’s not fair to merge any concern with animations/cut scenes into this thread. It lessens visibility and awareness on just how much condensed presentation affects the game.
you even had one user above chime in (before the thread was merged) saying you can turn on “full presentation” meaning he clearly had no interest in the big presentation thread, to have known it was removed, but that maybe he was intrigued by the goalie change cut scene being removed.
There are different factors that all “relate” to presentation that can all be assimilated into a lump sum, but it’s really unfair to throw it all into a once-already locked discussion (and continuing to be edited and modified), to just shut everybody else up.
Honestly the front page should be littered with presentation concerns. Goalie changes, pre-game, intermission, face-off, goal replays, play by play, penalty replays, time-outs, score reviews, it just goes on and on.
EA should be ashamed.
- We still want an explanation and what will be done about this disaster.
