Community ManagerIt really wasn't 90% of the posts being constructive and well thought out. Also, one of your posts was removed because it was part of a thread that was removed. It wasn't your post specifically. Had the original thread been as constructive as you mentioned, it would have stayed up. It eventually turned in to a lot of posts that break the rules and was largely non-constructive. It also wasn't really making a difference as again, we know how you all feel. More posts on top of an already lengthy thread isn't going to change that.
As far as being more transparent goes, I tried that with the True Broadcast camera thread. It wasn't as well received as I hoped. Normally, our transparency just results in more toxic responses. Which doesn't give us motivation to be more transparent.
I’ve been playing this game since 1993. This current version has some of the worst presentation I can remember. What is up with the black EA logo immediately after you score!!!!???

Playing the game since Nhlpa -93 on snes I think they destroyed their own game with this presentation removal and i think they planned it already in NHL 22 with the option full and condensed presentation really a shame with the graphics in todays game not to take the opportunity to present the game in a worthy way.And the way they fouled us with the presentation marketing before the realese i have no kind feelings about.
- Honestly, this cannot be ignored, either give us the full game with full presentation, or just refund everybody.
Bumping this thread one more time but I have officially given up on this year's game. Been playing every year since NHLPA 93 on my first computer way back when, but plain and simple: if there is not FULL presentation in NHL 24, meaning what you took away from us and then some, I'm out. Not preordering, not buying discounted a few months later, nothing. I cannot support a game that is moving backwards while every other sports franchise moves forwards. I keep seeing that EA is aware that we are not happy about this, so let's see what they decide to do with that information. See ya in August.
Based on the loss of momentum in this thread, I’d say that the majority of people have given up, myself included.
EA may think that they successfully avoided the issue, but what they have actually done is burned future paying customers. Add me to the list of people who wont buy NHL 24 even if I saw it in the $5 bin.
@Erkz16Precisely. It’s not about return on price paid either. I literally cannot enjoy the game because I’m sucked out of the authenticity whereas there once was immersion. It’s that simple for me.
EA nailed the (original) True Broadcast camera. To modify such an awesome feature when it wasn’t even necessary just defies all logic to me.I know this is the presentation thread, but as stated before I could have at least continued to play the game sans full presentation (yuck) if the gameplay alone was solid enough to warrant it. But with presentation scaled to zero AND True Broadcast gone? It’s the nail in the coffin until it returns.
