I'm just curious.
With games like the FIFA franchise, EA developed a progression plan that kept most of the new features they have been introducing at past games. A few changes and tweaks here and there but if you look at the presentation pack, it's undoubtedly one of the best sports game franchises out there.
Another example is NBA2K series. They keep the base solid and add new tweaks and features concisely, without breaking their game.
Now the question - why can't we have that for NHL? What's stopping EA and its developers from delivering a sports pack as good as we see with 2K and FIFA franchises?
Why remove cool features we had in past games?
Why change the True Broadcast camera AFTER people bought the game because of it?
Why market a full new presentation and make a lot of buzz around it only to deliver a much worse presentation package than the previous games? (to the point where there isn't presentation at all and it had to get fixed with patches)
So here's a constructive question to EA? What's happening? How can the community support you to deliver the best NHL experience for those who truly love hockey?
Please let us know how we can help.
