Unfortunately, there is no cross-generation play. Xbox Series X and play with PS5 and Xbox One can play with PS4. However, you can't have a club made up of players from each console. You can play against other teams on the same generation console though.
Community ManagerYou cannot invite a friend on another console, but in drop-ins, you can be assigned to a team with a mix of players from both consoles.
Not in DROP IN but there you can see that thats CLUB and in CLUB there are 3 guys ( 2 from PS and 1 Xbox) you understand? Explain that please?

Community ManagerIt's possible they picked up a guest in drop-ins and are moving on to other games after. I'm looking in to this, but that's my initial thought. Either way, there is no ability to invite players from another console.
