That is where all of the questions I posted derived from and as I stated a bit confusing as to who you can play WITH (Not against) with PS4 and PS5 consoles and versions

I was asking for clarification if NHL23 will do what NHL22 does currently - Will playing the PS5 X-FACTOR of the game on the PS5 platform.
Will it "Sync" as it does now with PS4 Consoles. Cross Generation console gaming. PS4's with PS5's.

As I said, I think we need a WHO you can play WITH chart. As there is for who you can play against.

But - if true, the #2 post - suggests that the PS5 X-factor version is TWO separate games to download and are both stand alone. So - if you want to play with PS4 console players, you must use that version with your PS5. AND, they are not progress co-mingled. So you must build up your character in BOTH versions. So, basically you are buying two separate games with NHL23 X-factor edition.

I can't find any official wording from EA that PS5 x-factor version "dual entitlement" is TWO SEPARATE games to be downloaded separatly and progress in each version must be accomplished separately. There is no official wording from EA that I can find that PS5 consoles playing PS4 versions of the game will "SYNC" with each others generation consoles to be able to play WITH each other - as it does now in NHL22.
