Same problem and error code here also.  I had bids/auctions that were stuck and not completing also. I left the game and restarted hoping it would fix that glitch only to not be able to get back in. I see posts about those problems in some other threads. Could these be related??

Same here, PS5 and the "failed to retrieve data" error. Funny though: I can enter now, but after finishing a rivals game, you get no points or objectives.

Almost impressive, how much bugs you can put in a game, 10 days after pre-launch.

It has to be related to auctions. I put players to auction last night and then turned it off.. now today Im locked out with this code all morning. Sounds like others have mentioned that they had players in auction as well... 

Classic EA, they will delete our auctions and we just lose those players... lol Hopefully that doesn't happen, but wouldn't surprise me.
