I have heard nothing about a delay. Let's not start spreading that rumor. I don't see any reason why there would be a delay this close to release. Everything is still a go for the planned Oct. 6th launch.

Good stuff… I’m not spreading rumour… But I don’t know why also, you guys seem to be in the dark about that patch either ??
Is it only a patch to put banners and adds for 24 ?
You guys really might want to slow your roll. Those "patch notes" read like somebody asked ChatGPT to generate a patch review with no input as to what is actually in the patch.
It's a small patch released just days before the game's replacement come out. It would be beyond shocking if there was anything other than a small, cosmetic change in there let alone major gameplay changes.
That said, I continue to find it baffling that a major AAA company like EA puts out patches without telling anyone what's in them.
The main reason I’m freaking out, it’s that you don’t know all the work I’ve put in 23 on rosters and tweaks… Yeah, I’m a bit jumping the gun and very worried, especially when even EA themselves don’t even seem to know about it or what it does actually….
That last part is what is the most baffling right now. Not gonna lie…

Not yet, but I can confirm that article is not accurate at all.

You know I respect you and the work you do here, but man, this answer is like saying, "we fixed you a drink and please don’t ask what we put in it…. Just drink it !"
I mean the people at EA surely must know what they fixed ? What bugs ? What tuning ? Improvements ?
Ive worked a whole year on 23, would really appreciate if I knew what’s in my drink…. Thanks !

@PernellKarl027100% This isn't Ajlo or any CM's fault at all. I feel bad the company finds a way to undermine their roles, again. But, EA Vancouver not being transparent about what's in their largest patch in months, posted out of the blue a week before their game's next launch does not sit well with me.

Believe me buddy that I’m not blaming Aljo one bit in all of this. I actually feel for him… He’s the main CM over here and he’s caught between a rock and a hard place. EA deploys a patch that he’s not even aware of and he discovers this after the fact like we all did, and to top it off, they don’t even have the decency to tell him what was in that patch…

There’s no WAY I’m installing this patch without knowing what it actually does. I just know that at one point, I will have to, because if I wanna put out my latest roster, I will need to go online 😳

You have to remember that the text from that official Panda site was a bunch of baloney… Pretty sure at this point in the life of 23 they didn’t touch the graphics… Not even sure why a 3.9GB patch was deployed a week before the release of 24 anyway ? Maybe I’ve bumped my head somewhere, but I’ve never seen this before in this series 🤔
@PernellKarl027I talk not about the panda site. Only my feel that this patch could have to do something with graphics. My meaning, this patch was not adressed for NHL 23 and usualy belongs to NHL 24. This unsatisfied answer about the changes strange to me, but showing me personaly that it goes in this direction. I guess they exactly know about what is included in this patch. I do not know but maybe they removed to download it now ?
