@EA_Aljo can you confirm this worked on, as this is a game breaking bug when even your basic control inputs doesn’t work consistently.

Hello, everyone. What control scheme is being used? I've heard of this problem with hybrid controls, but is it also happening with Skill Stick controls? Does anyone have some video? I realize you can't see the button being pressed, but it's usually obvious when you're trying to pass. If someone can get a video showing this, I'll pass it on to the team. 

In my teammate's case it's skill stick controls. We've been on the same club for over a decade now and he's never experienced anything like this before.

I'll see if I can get some video when it happens, but since it's not happening to me the camera angle may not be the best.

Happened to me 5 times in club with skill stick. 

L1, deke or loose the puck and get it back doesnt work. I had to wait for a whistle to be able to pass again. I'm on ps5.

Massive hits can sometimes cause your controls to lock or go all wonky - Getting a whistle usually fixes the problem

Can confirm its happening with Skill Stick

I have definitely experienced an increase in the threshold on the trigger when the pass is finally attempted.

I've also noticed that pre-loading a pass (one-touch-pass) before a player receives the puck is often ignored.

I feel that there was a change made to counteract the accidental passes from swapping control of players - because that has definitely decreased - and this may be one of those situations where the mechanic is suffering from an unintended consequence from that.

This seems to be now occuring also for AI eash. AI D just skated circles, not passing for about third of a period, even if everybody was asking pass.

I obviously dont know but I feel like this would be a completely different issue...? The issue brought up is the game not registering a controller input for the human player

This happens with skill stick for me. It will happen online and in a be a pro, though online it will only happen and go away after a few seconds (5 seconds at least) but on my be a pro, it is completely broken. Nothing I can do but shoot when this happens.. This is kind of an annoying bug.
