Re: Sabres 2022-23 Goat Head Alternate

Is there an explanation or criteria as to why certain jerseys can be added or altered during the year and others can't? For example, when the game was first released there were many minor league and European league teams playing either without actual jerseys or last year's jerseys and during the first few updates and patches those jerseys were either added in or corrected. Usually both the Winter Classic and Stadium Series jerseys are both patched in during later updates once they've been officially reveled. It's been almost a full year since the black Maple Leaf alternates were first reveled and worn and it's been multiple seasons now since the Hurricanes brought back their green Hartford Whalers Adidas cut jerseys and neither have appeared in games yet. Hopefully we see these plus the Sabres new black goat head jersey added into this year's game or at least get an official explanation as to why they cannot be added.

Mainly, it's licensing that prevents from having all jerseys in the game. If we don't have the rights to a particular jersey, we can't use it. Also, as you mentioned, there are times we can't release a jersey until it's been officially revealed.

I've always wondered why the Grand Rapids Griffins/Red Wings style uni never makes it in.
