no, it makes goalies easy to score, I found stuff I never learned before, you might wanna read this:

am on Xbox series x factor edition, a different control scheme for Ps5 users, I press Y to cover the five a lot, and there are 2 different types of five holes, there's the standard right trigger and then the Y button, the Y button close five holes down and seals it right shot, you might wanna get familiar with Y button soon as possible and learn to cover the angels and cause they aim for a corner a lot, yah it's not like real life where they Lobb puck at goalie, you have to cut off angles and make sure your square to the shooter and don't over commit to the corners or hugging the post, your automatic saves will control some pucks, I had to watch real NHL goalies and watch AI CPU goalies how they cover the pucks, mix of coming to edge of blue paint and slightly into the crease, remember there are secret controls now in NHL 23, you need to press RB for shooting a puck for User and Left trigger for the pass, don't forget to every direction you move your goalie also controls user offense where to go, so say wanna move left on in crease your offense moves left or you want to move right your offense will move right.

Yea I'm on series X as well. ok, so should I use Y more or RT more?

Y button for sorts of situations and the right trigger for normal and sustainable situations. bit of balanced both. just read the play and adapt and read situations.

I completely re-did the goalie slider, to better ones, anyways have fun!, today was the first time I ever got to sit down and test it, have fun! I thought starting in January better goalie sliders.

I love how I am able to utilize the goalie screen effect: CPU: 77 / Human: 77 and goalie persistence: CPU 45 / Human: 45, this is a big achievement, as no other goalie slider maker was successful at utilizing the goalie screen effect: CPU: 77 / Human: 77 and goalie persistence at CPU: 45 / Human: 45.

anyways am 2 games into the regular season with anaheim ducks, am doing well, am currently 2-0-0 with and 1.89 GAA and Save Percentage of .953.

At least we don't need to use the goalie screen effect: 64-66-74-75, stuff anymore, I wanted a higher goalie screen effect cause the goalie getting screened a lot lately, this will simulate screens too, and how well you see through traffic.

my team is on a tear right now 5-0-1, we just beat the Boston Bruins and new york islanders.

so... I, adjusted one setting, to goalie sliders, Increased Pass Interceptions: CPU: 97 / Human: 97, here it is:

added my discovery sliders today, big discovery for goalie mode, have fun all!

Increased - pass accuracy: CPU: 65 / Human: 65 (from: CPU: 33 / Human: 33)

have fun all, on the goalie sliders!, I grew tired of people saying my offense wasn't passing enough, have fun!

I finally updated my goalie sliders and a handful of games, 10 minutes, and presets medium and simulation is a must, am eventually winning games again, I had to lower the goalie screen effect to CPU finally: 54 / Human: 54 and raise goalie persistence to CPU: 48 / Human: 48, have fun all.

I also lowered the skating impacts to CPU: 35 / Human: 35, I found I at higher impacts for skating, my team was losing more games and puck more every time, don't worry I also played with pass reception ease and another slider too.

I have re-adjusted my goalie sliders recently, I wanted more variety of goals being scored, so I did some more tweaks, keep in mind I have now lowered the pass accuracy to CPU: 15 / Human: 15, and also lowered goalie save reaction time to CPU: 63 / Human: 63 and goalie save deflection save reaction time to CPU 63 / Human: 63, also raised the shot accuracy: CPU 45 / Human: 45, I also made some more minor adjustments to hitting and stuff to make a constantly steady stream of hits and injuries involved, I will upload it now, now if you are really struggling to make saves, I suggest to raise goalie to save reaction time: CPU: 66-67 and Human: 66-67 and goalie deflection save reaction time: CPU: 64-65 and Human: CPU: 64-65, make adjustments to fit your style, but I really like the hitting and injuries now it bits back and forth now.

Updated Goalie Sliders, to what am currently using, now if you like scoring goals with the RB button and right trigger button, and aim assist these settings are for you goalies, have fun!

have fun all, I looked around the slider forum, and am very happy with this, I am finally getting 78-52 hits per game and low shots of 38-25, I also increase the speed of players to 90 percent for both CPU And Human as Goalie, I think u may like these sliders when you get to NHL from memorial cup finals, I played 2 games these are best sliders when you get to NHL am using coyotes you can definitely see the speed of coyotes and stuff. remember I took parts sliders from other places. but the rest is all mine. you may borrow what I made here and make it better for yourself.
