Re: True broadcast camera

I find it odd that True Broadcast was changed due to 'requests from the community' yet I've literally never seen a single topic in this forum asking for it to be changed. But here, you're seeing countless messages from people who absolutely hate the change and there's hesitation to revert it. 

It's so weird

    @KidShowtime1867 I’ve wanted to know the same thing. What feedback? Is EA paying a 3rd party sample sized polling or metrics company to gather this data? Subscribed emails? Twitter?

    I’d like to know the overwhelming surge of criticism for True Broadcast in its old form and where those comments came from. I’ve never seen a single person have anything to say about it. There’s multiple other angles to play from and most do. True Broadcast was a niche camera angle for the niche sim player.

    I don't have any details on this. The change came as a surprise to me as well.

    You can contact the retailer the game was purchased from to see if a refund is possible.

    @EA_Aljo Why wasn’t this brought to the customer attention before the game release. That this was being consider to be removed?

  • It seems that a lot of people have already spoken constructively. But time passes and nothing changes. People are furious. And you respond with monotonous answers that cause even more anger.

    It is very much on topic though, isn't it?

    it's just inconvenient for you to hear negative feedback. Your community is expressing its feedback in relation to this game, and their dissatisfaction with a game that they purchased in good faith that the features that were in the game on launch would remain so, instead the features they had have now been removed making the game unplayable for them and many others.

    It's all well and good releasing statements saying "we are listening to your feedback" when clearly that is not the case!

    Each time someone in this thread discusses something mildly irritating to you or would be classed as negative feedback in relation to this s**t show of a company you immediately use the old "this has become non-constructive, we are locking it down!" mate get off your high horse and actually pass on the feedback that's in this topic.

    Not one person in this thread has said anything even mildly complimentary in relation to the change you made that no one asked for so make your community happy and add it back! and also don't make out that its difficult to do PES (Pro Evo Soccer) has a modding community that can give everyone the ability to manually adjust the parameters of the camera in any view to the player bases preference, they did that as amateurs so I'm sure your programmers could knock something up over a weekend.

    You've really, really dropped the ball on this one and I promise unless this is rectified you WILL feel the repercussions of this with the sales figure drop for 24 when that's released. Ironic really as you'll be listening to your community then!

    I don't have any answers to give you all. The only thing you want to hear is news on True Broadcast returning. I don't have that. If it happens, we'll surely provide an update.

    Since my responses are causing more harm than good, I'll bow out of this conversation. Appreciate the feedback. You all are welcome to continue the discussion as long as it remains on topic. Demanding refunds is not that. This is about your feedback on the change and not meant to be a forum for demanding refunds, which we aren't able to do. This thread is very close to being locked as it's appearing to have run its course. It'll remain open for now though.

    We're not trying to censor you. We're trying to keep the feedback actually usable. Rants, demands for refunds and throwing insults at the dev team don't carry near as much weight as constructive criticism. Rudely demanding we make changes aren't going to actually make that happen. I know it seems that being nice about it doesn't either, but that feedback is what is considered when making changes.

    If this thread is locked and a new one is created, that's fine so long as, it remains constructive. That's been the problem here. If you all want to keep the discussion going, keep it within the rules and on topic.

    @EA_Aljo If you would stop for a moment and look at it from a customer perspective. You would see the reason for the upset. You took out a feature after people bought the game! You have finally answered the question that we will not be receiving any type of refund. I thank you for answering that. But now it’s been three weeks. Will this be returning to the game? If you don’t have that information can you please get it to us in a timely fashion. It’s really that simple get us the information we need. You want a constructive thread get us the answer we are all looking for.

    After telling Sony that EA took out true broadcast camera after release, and that it was the only camera I played on, I finally got my refund. Will never ever pre-order an EA sports title again.

    I thought this was pretty constructive, tbh. They’re basically asking for transparency for stuff like this. Understandable that you’ve already made it clear this change was something even you had no idea was happening and that only helps his point. 

    If they’re not even letting their community managers know that thing like this will be happening how are the customers supposed to know.
