Re: True broadcast camera

Everyone could, respectfully, request changes made to corporate headquarters at EA Sports. They're a publicly traded company and have public numbers.
It's important to be respectful.

With all due respect, EA corporate is not concerned with disgruntled NHL fans. This series is not a priority, lacks funding, and its peak days are behind it after losing Ben Ross and the talented team they *used* to have in place.

Honestly this fact has made me realize the   series as I loved it is dead. Now it may not be dead for everyone, as some might love this new “pickup and play” approach with no simulation. Others may not care or notice.

It’s actually sort of a relief. I spent months upset and in deep conversation on this board discussing this very thing. It was really consuming my thought process and emotion.

Now I can look back and accept that the team is no longer there (the simulation team I.E. Ben Ross), and simply move on. I did that with Madden years ago. I know it exists, but it’s not something I spend money on. It’s just now NHL is added to that category.

Until 2K (lol) comes out with another hockey title, or another company takes a crack at it, I’ve accepted that if I want to play video game hockey I have NHL 19. That’s the peak of the 30 year series to me until something huge changes.

Agreed. It seems as though the glory days of the NHL series are long gone. The revenue from HUT bunnies who pay top dollar to remain "competitive" in a game mode that's based less on skill and more on how often you can exploit unbalanced X-Factors is just too hard to pass up. I bet any producer on the team who wants to spend resources on anything other than HUT gets shut down quickly.

Got an update today and they STILL haven’t fixed the true broadcast angle. Don’t EVER tell me y’all care about your customers.

THIS SHOULD’VE BEEN ANNOUNCED BEFORE THE GAME RELEASED. It’s a garbage tactic to get our money and then pull this nonsense. Just fire yourselves already and bring back someone who actually cares about their players.
