Realism vs looking arcade

Look it might be me being petty BUT !! 

Look I love EA went ten steps forward but I also feel like they went 5 back. For a player like me that plays franchise mode. I want the game to look more to life. I just dont want to see the pressure meter on the ice. I dont mind its on the boards thats fine. But I feel like EA keep stepping away from giving us a game that is REAL TO LIFE and more arcade. 

it’s hard not too compare but look at what 2k have done with NBA. 

I’d like just to switch the meter off the ice which I don’t think is possible at this given time.
