@Iceman101783 NHL 20 was honestly the best game they've ever put out for offline players. The tuners worked as intended and didn't some sliders tuned to the max (0 or 100) to work or be effective. You could truly create a pretty damn close to simulation hockey experience.
I really wish we had some of the touch ups done to animations in 22 and some of the AI programming changes in certain aspects with a much more properly tuned a game.

Nhl 21 wasn’t bad either.

went back and played 20, AI are much better at adding pressure in the zone without getting out of position....they just breakadown in a more realistic fashion than 22...not as much neutral zone pressure though and no feet moving while puck protecting so some definite misses as well...but in love the in zone experience compared to 22
- 3 years agoCurrent edition is never a big deal, give it some time, it usally takes 3 or 4 years and some bad realeses from EA before people is startin to appreciate the old games. 🤭🤐
