Stick Lift pretty much automatic penalty
Seriously... hitting the X button, even when perfectly positioned, results in hooking or slashing like 90% of the time... regardless of sliders... just wow

- @SilentAssassn25 This. 22 allowed people to spam stick lift and poke check. They’ve changed that. People need to adjust. Takes better positioning and timing. People need to learn patience.
- @PaulReubens No it didn't. I've gotten many tripping penalties trying to pokecheck in 22. This is another case of online play ruining offline play.

No it literally is. Automatic penalty 90% of the time. Especially EASHL.
Stick lifts in vs and hut is a penalty 90% of the time and until this day nothing has been done to fix it
Honestly I can stick lift ten times per game without getting a penalty on any one of them if I'm being precise about it. The thing is that the logic is a bit broken for sure, but it's pretty consistent. Once you get the feel for when you can use the stick lift in this game, you can do it almost every time as long as you make sure you only do it under the allowed circumstances. Any lapse of focus though and you'll probably get a penalty because your stick and player relative to the opponent's weren't in one of the few advantageous positions where the game allows you to perform a clean stick lift.
