Stick Lift pretty much automatic penalty
Seriously... hitting the X button, even when perfectly positioned, results in hooking or slashing like 90% of the time... regardless of sliders... just wow

The poke slowing you down is fine for me. I barely noticed that but the stick lift has to be fixed. It is by far the worst change they have made in like 10 years. 9 out of 10 stick lifts are called for a penalty lol. Its atrocious and ruins the whole game
Propably the reason they went from 4min periods to 3min periods; everyone is sitting in penalty box 🥲 EA-kind of fix.

I've reported this to the dev team and will report back when I have some details. Really appreciate the feedback on this.
So is anything being done with this issue? It’s really annoying that when I shoot with hybrid and the puck gets poked I get a penalty every time.

I don't have any news on this currently. We'll have to wait and see if it's addressed. For now, the best I can advise is to try using the Skill Stick controls.
So this issue was reported back in October and now we’re in March, but nothing has been fixed. When is this going to be fixed? This is probably the worst nhl game I’ve played in a while.
