Stick Lift pretty much automatic penalty
Seriously... hitting the X button, even when perfectly positioned, results in hooking or slashing like 90% of the time... regardless of sliders... just wow

@TTZ_Dipsy So as a season mode player I suppose I just need to just forget about poke checking and just focus on defensive positioning and body checking.
I notice that if you get in the right position your player will automatically poke the puck away.

@NewHockeyFan I don't think so. Even on rookie low skill AI players dodge checks like Wayne Gretzky. Focus on shot blocking.

I think I am going to try to use the NHL 94 controls as a way to Remedy the stick lift problem.
