Strategies — Goalie usage slider
Some teams have a clear #1 goalie, some teams are almost 50/50 in their usage of starter versus backup and the rest are somewhere in between.
Franchise mode needs a slider under team strategies to dictate how often your starting goalie rests. 0-100%. 0% means the starter only plays if the backup is hurt and 100% means the starter would start every game when not injured. This way if you sim some games you don’t end up with unrealistic starts for your backup goalies. (It would be nice to be able to adjust other teams sliders on this one, because it seems like AI logic would probably be way behind and have goofy percentages once traded and signings happen)
This could turn into additional strategy options in the future, like when those goalies tend to be used. Maybe an option where a starter always rests on back to back games, or when you’re playing the opposite conference the backup always plays, or if playing any contender the starter always gets the start etc. These additional options would be nice but not completely necessary.
The slider and % section it in my opinion needed 100%. We shouldn’t still be seeing Vasilevsky and Nedeljkovic have the same number of games started.
