Strategies in NHL 23
Are they going to fix strategies in the game so we can go back and edited them like we did in previous games? (picture I’ve provided.)

@Andochiefs Honestly pretty unlikely… they are probably too focused on fixing their big presentation debacle.. I don’t think we’ll see it fixed for a big… if we even do lol
@heavydutyrammer Main reason why they won't fix is because they are trying to force people to play HUT and spend money. Out of all the games that have Ultimate Team theirs brings in the lowest revenue EA is all about live service and micro transactions now. Reason why they added a new strategy option with the new powerplay stuff but took away the option to adjust strategies in franchise, so it's only available in HUT.
100% doubt anyone of significance at the studio has seen this thread. Only one twitch/youtuber has publicly said stuff about the franchise mode strategies. All streamers of the game only play HUT and of course are the ones promoting EA crap decisions. Two of the biggest streamers Nasher and someone else said on Twitter that they believe only 1% of people actually play franchise mode which is a load of bull. One if them even said they should just remove the game mode.

This issue with strategies have absolutely zero to do with trying to get people to play HUT. If we truly only wanted people to spend additional money, there would be more than 1 mode you could do that in.
- @EA_Aljo The community is angry and I saw your justification for this change and it made no sense whatsoever. It was illogical and ridiculous. Please tell the dev team to patch this ASAP. I can't believe I'm doing this, begging EA to put something back into a game that's always been there. This is the last time I purchase this game. I've bought every edition since 93. It's bigger than this one thing, you don't listen to the customers anymore.
See I only play franchise mode then followed by BAP
I couldn’t give a Daum about HUT or online.

@heavydutyrammer Nah there biggest work would be the cross platform matching. Which should be this month some point

- @Andochiefs Like what happened last year with roster sharing… crossplay will likely be left to the last couple days of November before it launches… so it’ll be nearly a month to wait… speculation.. but we’ll see if it’s accurate or not lol
If EA wants to ween out offline players with stupid decisions like this, they're succeeding so far. Cutting even more freedom from an already restricting game mode makes me not want this game ever/ any others in the future that still have these stupid decisions. Players will literally get stuck skating into each other and the priorities instead are removing more freedom from the player.
- @bg0vzeyqov1y Yup 100% they are just alienating the fan base even more.. and still haven’t listened to our feedback about opening up player editing and strategy editing… the plan is to lock us out of these features for some reason…
The coach strategy bug proves how important the ability to change strategies is…
CPU generated prospects having improper attributes that don’t match their height/weight/player type is also another reason why it’s so vital to have the ability to edit players…
