Strategies in NHL 23
Are they going to fix strategies in the game so we can go back and edited them like we did in previous games? (picture I’ve provided.)

EA is trying to create a narative in wich the removal of feature is intentional, logical and are a creative decision instead of saying that they broke the game.
Strategy is not in the game because it must conflict with something else.
@Aralkar For sure, 100%… I don’t believe EA Aljo’s claim that “we’re not the coach so we don’t set the strategies” it literally makes no sense because we set the lineups, we set hot dog prices, we upgrade bathrooms, etc those are all not GM responsibilities….

I suspect that the addition of the 1-3-1 and powerplay roles is what was causing a conflict and why they removed the ability to edit strategies.
Don’t get me wrong, I am stoked they FINALLy added a new and modern strategy, as well as the ability to dictate rolls on the power play.
But I really hope they figure out a way to make it so that we can edit strategy’s with these new tactics in the future. I also wouldn’t mind if they continue to add more modern tactics in the future
