Strategies in NHL 23
Are they going to fix strategies in the game so we can go back and edited them like we did in previous games? (picture I’ve provided.)

So disappointing. This game is just so sub par. Simple things like this getting overlooked just shows that this entire team gives two ships about this game

@EA_Aljo Do you work for NHL 23 dev team? If so this problem has clearly been brought up before but you are refusing to acknowledge the issue, does Madden 23 FORCE you to throw a Hail Mary on every 2nd Down? You added 1-3-1 pp formation and I can’t even use it franchise mode, do understand how contradictory this is?

I'm not one of the developers, but I am in very regular contact with the team. I have relayed the input about strategies to them.
This game is one big broken mess ,here is 2 game changers and a top player discussing how ea devs screwed up strategies

- @thegarden94 You mean the same dev team that put time effort and money to put in a new feature (the stick pointing bs) that may happen once or twice a week, but for some reason my LW needs his RD to point to who to pass to…
I've spent 3 days starting new franchises trying to get a decent coach with A- in teaching and matches up with my Team (Red Wings). Only a few good coaches, none of which line up with the young stars on my team. 3 days wasted b/c EA sucks. EA needs to be broken up for monopoly of making * games, but only option in town.
- @Ponks_05 bro Its sucks, because its not just the Teaching, but the actual strategies, I have had 3 franchise players that barely get any chemistry, but also Xfactors are a big piece of chemistry it seems. I had the same 3 dudes on a line, only 1 had an X Factor, and I had +1 CHemistry. I edited the other 2 guys to have X factor an skills and BOOM, instant Line Chemistry at +5. its asinine bro.
It's just another way of theirs to try to get people to play HUT and EASHL and spend more money. The NHL games bring in less revenue in ultimate team then there FiFA and Madden counter parts. So they are trying to find ways to get people to spend more. So if they have to take features away there going to do so sadly.
As someone who only plays franchise mode it's frustrating as hell to see them not adding new features the franchise but taking old ones away. I'll wait till this game goes on game pass unfortunately now.
Because of the strategy stuff my coach keeps putting forwards as defensemen when not on the power play...Also keeps putting bottom six forwards on my first powerplay.
