There is an ongoing issue effecting many players ability access online content. This issue first came to my attention Tuesday following the update. Tech support here have been making the claim that the issue many players were experiencing were the result of the severs being down.
This might have been the case for some, but many still have no online access and haven't since Tuesday. Hut locks up on the select team screen, chel has all game modes "locked".
I have tried every troubleshooting method including going to the extent of trying a entirely different Xbox console, freshly factory reset, with a new install of NHL 23, on a different internet connection, with a different controller, the issue persists. EA support has assured many users experiencing this issue that this is a backend problem they currently have a team working on/investigating. They have not however acknowledged the issue in public in any capacity. NHL 23 twitter is still talking about new content updates without any reference to the issue.
Here's what I want to know, if a team is working on the issue, as ea tech support and EA help twitter have both suggested, where can I find public acknowledgment of the issue and followup information on when it will be resolved....something along the lines of "we are aware of an issue effecting players from accessing online content like hit and chel"...furthermore how am I to know when the game will be working outside of just trying it a couple times a day? This is what Ive currently been doing for the last few days and everytime I waste time trying to load up the game only to be let down by the realization that the issue has still not been addressed, I get closer and closer to just refunding the game entirely.
