Ea staff have been ignoring us since friday, its an ongoing issue they refuse to address publicly.. They merged several threads to make it appear as though less people are experiencing the issue than one would think by just coming to the forum. They arn't doing anything to fix it, they are just waiting until the next regular update and hoping that fixes it, but they won't say that directly. They keep just giving players the run around, but rest assured there is absolutely nothing you can do. I tried on 2 seperate xbox consoles, on different internet connections, with diferent xbox controllers, with one of those xbox ones being freshly factory reset, with a fresh install of NHL 23. The problem is account bound so regardless of where you go or what console your on etc. The issue will always present itself. If you go to World of Chel, youll likely notice all the game modes "locked" as well.
I created an alt Xbox live gamertag and created an New nhl23 hut team from fresh, drafted the team, opened the starter pack, and loaded up into a game with zero issues, when i went back to my main account, the issue was back, switched back to the alt, can still play without issue, go back to the main, issue persists. Like i said, nothing you, or any of us can do.
Issue has been ongoing since tuesday, where tech support made the claim that a large team was actively investigating the issue. Its been almost 6 days now and in no way have EA addressed the issue publicly. Furthermore as i mentioned earlier, the staff here... @EA_Aljo @NHL_Live_Support specifically... have gone out of their way to waste our time and undermine our concerns. They have been completely ghosting us since friday, with assumption being, that they have run out of ways to waste our time through troubleshooting, since i have made it very clear that the issue is on their end.
I mentioned this in an ealier post, but they have "allegedly" had a team working on this issue since tuesday...but on friday they were stil having us troubleshoot and had no idea if the issue was account related or on the users end. Despite having this alleged team working on the issue, it took me, a 32 year old stoner with no development experience, 1 hour to diagnose the issue and conclude it is account related and cannot be fixed by the player.
Im still waiting for @EA_Aljo and @NHL_Live_Support to provide some type of response. I want to know where i can find updates on the issue and the team trying to reslove it.... This is clearly not that place, since the staff here are free to come and go as they please and go days without responding to players.
It would appear as though the official NHL 23 twitter is more active in regularly posting online then you guys have been with responding to us regarding our issue. Furthermore, i find it funny that said twitter has time to tweet to the St.Louis blues "elite" 12 hours ago <----here ....and yet that same twitter has no mention of the ongoing issue effecting many players and allegely requiring its own team to investigate. Nothing along the lines of "we are aware of an issue effecting some players ability to acces online content, we are investigating the issue and will keep you updated when a solution is found".....
