Stuck in "select sides" screen

Product: NHL 23
Platform:PlayStation 5
What is your gamertag/PSN ID?
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play rivals in hut
What happens when the bug occurs? I want to play rivals or challanges and am stuck in the "select sides" screen, cant start the game but cant go back either, the circle button wont wirk either, habe to quit the game.
What do you expect to see? A start button.
Was the issue in online or offline mode? Online

What time did you see the bug? (HH:MM AM/PM)
What is your time zone?

Hello, everyone. It's possible that having a custom gamerpic is causing this. This is a temporary workaround while we work to resolve the issue. Please update your gamerpic to be a default image and not a custom one.

That is CRAZY!!!!
No idea how the team tracked down that crazy connection but replacing my Xbox gamerpic solved the problem.

@Extablau21 Since I had to go searching google, looks like they found a workaround in another thread. If you haven't already, change your gamer pic to a default Xbox one.

I hadn't seen that! Thanks for letting me know; I'll give it a try tomorrow. Still absolutely ridiculous to have been locked out of the game for a week, if not more without this
