way to completely make this game garbage.
the goalie play from AI is ridiculous. I’m deleting this piece of garbage game. Not every goalie can be 94% save percentage on every game.
You really made this game suck.
I’m just gonna delete it and come back in a few months and hopefully they will have it straightened out.
I like to spend a little on HUT but at this point it doesn’t matter the ratings because the goalies for AI seem to all be 99 ratings secretly.
the only goals are usually some garbage scrap because anything that is perfectly executed - one timer, cross crease, perfect pass and shoot - are all amazingly saved with highlight reel saves literally every game. Even on rookie - seems every goalie for AI is Vezina Trophy candidate.
I couldn't freaking agree more. So frustrating.
I've played the game and squad battles quite a lot and now I'm losing 1-2 to a 76 ovr outshooting them 57-5.

Same here, I played the early access mostly Squad Battle games at All Star (I usually play Super Star) and I couldn't score more than one goal per game. I don't know if we need players with 90+ overall to score more goals but it's been a very frustrating experience.
Yea it’s super disheartening to make perfectly executed plays to have every one a highlight reel save. I just ram the goalie now and go for garbage rebounds - no use in trying to be skilled with plays and passing - goalies are invincible even at 70 ratings they are super heroes -
game sucks now to play from what they did to goalies
I can score a couple goals a game on superstar.. But my problem is my goalie... I lost 5-4 on superstar.. i had 40 shots, they had 9... 9 shots, 5 goals... i should just play with an empty net at this rate. they need to fix the fact that our goalies are horrible no matter what. They should be able to save wrist shots from the blue line off the boards with no traffic in front. Stuff my 8 year old could save is going in
Scoring is nearly impossible, while my goalie is a sieve.
Just st to see I used rookie level and the goalie was still at a 1993 Roy level.

It's still fun, but pretty infuriating
Just switch to Online Versus. The game is much more balanced. HUT is just for the wallet whales that want to flex how much money they can burn on a team that they don't even get to keep the next year.
Early HUT is fine but you can already get 90 OVR teams within the first month. There's zero point to it anymore.
The skill gap in OV is a lot more noticeable.
