I mean stick lifting as been an issue since launch.. the only way to combat that is putting says into discipline and stick checking. They say it takes more work to roll out updates on consoles, yet have absolutely no issues putting out HUT content updates religiously. We've gotten 1 update since launch that was supposed to fix the looping and desync issues. Spoiler alert, it still happens (not as much, so kudos there). I had it happen the other day my reaction was 🙄 lol
HUT content is entirely different. That is content that already exists in the game, but is modified with new stats. It doesn't require a patch. There have been 4 patches so far that have addressed various issues.
Out of those 4 patches, how many addressed the stick lifting, that's been brought up since launch? Just curious

EA Aljo's post #8 indicates 'it's' something to 'addressed'.
If it wasen't, I wouldn’t see the point using thoose words.* Same time, if plenty enough people claims that one of the mechanics from the game is broken, that in turn makes that mechanics kinda broken. The mass of the people got the vote. - Kmahrle833 years agoRising Veteran

The mass of the people got the vote. See, you would.hope and think the majority is the vote, and if you read EVERY SOCIAL MEDIA SITE, anywhere for reviews etc. It's clear the majority think this game is hot garbage, yet we have people from EA come here and tell us they have feedback saying the opposite. Just like they ask us for video proof, I've asked where all this positive feedback can be seen, but it's been ignored over and over, just like our feedback has. They can't sit here and say they listen, then leave game breaking bugs in for 5 years. They then claim it takes time to fix things, but some never are. It's a joke and they gaslight us.
- KlariskraysNHL3 years agoHero+@Sega82megaHe said there was only 1 patch. Then he says, "As far as the stick lift goes, we'll have to wait and see if it's addressed."
It wasn't said to be broken and he's merely saying maybe it gets addressed.
Guess what we shall see if my cure for all cancers is addressed. *goes radio silent about it*Kmahrle83 Listening is what EA is great at overall... Doing something about it on the other hand is something they are not. Much like the NFL rule where they have to interview certain coaches when you already damn well know who their choice for coach is gonna be. We are those have to interview coaches. - 3 years ago@KlariskraysNHL
With enough time, everything will be addressed.
Poke checks, stick lifting, hitting, these are all things that constantly being changed into a diffrent 'measure'.
And is probebly based a lot on feedback from the player base.
Dependent on how many critical comments and voices being heard.
 A never ending loop.
Perfection is not achievable. Too many different wills.
But then again - If a mechanics is broken, in it's s true meaning, that would definitely be something that EA would acknowledge and try to patch as soon as possible.
Wasen't that long ago stick lifting was completely broken right after the realese and they had to fix it ASAP.
