Threes Eliminator will often not let me pass.
Also, I have several complaints.
I'm not sure how EA managed to mangle threes into a giant mess. They made it way to fast and the goalies even worse. The game is now centered around hitting even more than it used to be. It's terrible.
All EA had to do is copy and paste the same template as they have for every other game.
So why won't it let me pass?
I've changed controllers and still this problem is very persistent

Threes Eliminator is an arcade mode so the rules will be relaxed.

If I tried to give you a video it would look like a player simply skating with the puck. I would have to video the screen and controller and be able to do it at the exact same time the issue happens which is sporadic
Community ManagerYou could say when you were trying to pass and it wasn't working. We need to see what is happening before passing is disabled.
Here’s another thread with the passing issue. I’ve gotten this in EASHL both drop ins and club. I also know several people as well that experience it.
I've had the same problem 2-3 times in the latest weeks, you just can't pass anymore, at all. The only way to make it work again is to make the game stop, force a offside or dump the puck in the crowd from the neutral zone or else, all you can do is shot the puck.
For me it was in 6s drop in.
Hey, no I'm sorry, I'm still a ''noob'' when it come to take clips or screenshot lol I never use them so it make it that I don't think about using the ''clip it'' button when it happens.
I don't know what trigger it exactly but I use the right stick a lot to avoid opponents sticks or to create space for passes...it could be that I trigger unvoluntary dekes sometimes while making the pass and it cancel it and bug it. could also be when you hold pass button then a collision happen with an opponent, it reset the pass action sometimes, which could possibly create the bug too.
Honestly, I have no idea how it exactly happened unfortunatly....but I know it happens for sure though. Rarely but it does, I would say it happened about 5-6 times since nhl23 release so I wouldn't call that gamebraking either, more of a annoyance particularly when you play defense like me and try that break out pass lol
