Two players NHL 23 - PS4
Can you play two players on the same console at the same time? Older NHL games allowed you to play friends together on the couch but can't seem to find a way to do it on NHL 23. PS4 edition.

Community ManagerCan you be more specific? I'll need to go through each mode and see if co-op play is supported. Also, do you have a headset connected? That can sometimes show up as another controller. In that case, disconnect your headset until after both controllers are connected. You can connect it again then.
No headset. As for more detail, I mean my kids (and I) want to be able to play together with two controllers. Either in Play Now mode or, ideally, to play tournaments with each other.
But it seems like the only multiplayer that the game supports is online.

If you go to Play Now and have both controllers turned on, they should be showing up. There's an icon for each controller and you just move the controller icon to the team you want to play with.
For modes like Online VS. you need to press L1 at the bottom of thr screen to "invite" a buddy to play - You should see the option for Online and Couch co op - with the other controller turned on, it should show up in the list.
I don't believe HUT lets you co op anymore but I could be wrong. I know EASHL doesn't work.
