Unrealistic Penalty?
Before I start, I don’t have any video to show this so you’ll need to take my description for this. I was playing a Franchise Mode game (as a 33rd team bringing back the Hartford Whalers) where I was 5-1 up late in the third when a penalty is called on a CPU controlled player on my team and when I do touch the puck, I see its a 5 minute major. Wanting to see what happened for such penalty, I wait for the replay and what it shows still puzzles me. What happens is my captain Brent Burns is in front of his own net and gives the opposing player in front enough of a shove for him to fall down with no other player close enough. The player is unhurt, but Burnsy gets a 5 minute major for interference. However, despite the penalty, I still run out the clock for a 5-1 win. Surely this penalty is unrealistic, right?
