If you think this game is anything like hockey then hockey isn't for you. It is so arcade the only thing allowing it to be called a hockey game are the ice, logos, and player names. They can't even get skating right, it is less realistic and momentum based than NHL 94. Physical play (and defense in general) is punished and moonwalking with the puck is a viable strategy. Come on.

I tried all the offline modes with the trial, the AI makes those modes unplayable, I can easily dominate the AI every time on superstar with max difficulty adjustment in franchise mode, or shatter Gretzky's scoring records without much effort in Be a pro.
World of Chel is the "least horrible" game mode, but at higher levels even that is a cesspool of LT abuse, figure skating, and boring trap on trap gameplay with no forechecking or physical play. This game is not hockey, not even close.
